Doug’s Pages

My musical tastes are varied and include traditional church chant, medieval and baroque music of all kinds, instrumental music from the Classical period of Western music, the Russian composers of the turn of the twentieth century, punk, some heavy metal, hardcore, funk, and alternative rock. I was also, once, a competent clarinet player and a good recorder player. A decade long lack of practice has honed both those skills to near extinction. My wife assures me I sing flat... doesn’t stop me, though, from belting out my favourite hymns in church.
And then there are the books, mainly sci-fi and fantasy, and liturgy and theology... I am almost always reading something (a habit Joshua seemed to be gaining till he discovered GameBoys!)

And yes, I even have some friends... scattered around the world, young and old, religious and not,... obviously I’m not going to list all their names here ;-) but over the years I hope to add some photos of most of them! Thanks, friends, for your friendship over the years.
