Please don’t forget to check out my religion pages;
and, of course, my other interest is creating web pages ;-) Check out my web, graphics, and multimedia ‘company’, Hildormen Productions, for further information on those interests.

Fantasy Role Play Gaming

Universes of Imagination Logo

I have an incredible amount of paperwork on a universe (multiverse, actually) that I have designed to swallow up every other game universe ever created. While most of my work on this has been concentrated on a particular human group (the Daro) across the span of several hundred thousand years and numerous universes, any other fantasy world can be logically placed within my multiverse.

I have toyed with a variety of game play systems over the years and have never been quite satisfied with anyone else’s or my own! I have played Advanced D&D, Torg, Shadowrun, one of the superhero systems, Warhammer, and a couple of other systems and have gamemastered several (as well as my own system in one or more of its iterations). I enjoy playing and am a capable gamemaster. I do, though, tend to get carried away with the details when gamemastering. For the last couple of years or so I have been exploring Dungeons and Dragons 3rd Edition with its open source d20 system. My years of searching for the perfect game system are over, I think ;-) I would recommend this system to anyone and aim to base all future work on my multiverse on the d20 system.

What I now need is for someone(s) with a strong writing ability to place all my data and story outlines into coherent and readable stories :-) (When I was younger I thought I would be able to do this myself. Even started writing several stories. But eventually realised that the story writing part is not, no way, and never has been, my gift.)

I am steadily transferring all my data to my Palm (actually, a TRGpro) using the awesome program, ShadowPlan) and to computer (using OpenOffice.org) and will soon begin linking to it from this website. The invitation will then be for those interested to join writing mailing lists. More on this at a later date.

Photography

Mushroom on a log

I am an avid photographer. As well as the family ‘snapshots’, I also enjoy photographing almost anything... sunsets, old buildings, shapes, nature, and people. Currently I am using a Nikon CoolPix 4500 digital camera. Most of my computer processing is then done in The Gimp.

Videography, 3D Animation, Website Design and Technology

Currently at a more craft, than art, level are my interests and work in a variety of technology-based activities including videography (using a Sony digital video camcorder and Sonic Foundry’s Vegas Video and Acid Pro), 3D animation (only just beginning in this but I have NewTek’s Lightwave 3D 6.5 to use), website design (see the site details page for my design software and a link to my web hosting business), and a variety of other activities based around keeping myself organised using my Palm OS TRGpro and my various other interests using both the TRGpro and my IBM Thinkpad and a homegrown dual processor computer shared with the rest of the family.

I hope to occasionally add samples of some of these other activities of mine to this page. No promises on when, though!

Body Art

I have numerous body piercings and tattoos, have pierced professionally, and remain interested in this area.
